The Confederation was founded in 1935 and
is composed of six branches: the National Agriculture Society, the National
Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism, the National Mining Society, the
Industrial Development
Society, the Chilean Chamber of Construction
and the Association
of Banks and Financial Institutions Through
the promotion of job creation,
the advancement of opportunities, support for
individual initiative and
respect for private property
