Ever since its creation, BCE has been awarded some of the most prestigious construction projects both in Mauritius and in Rodrigues, among which National Assembly, the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) offices in Curepipe and the Plaine-Corail landing strip in Rodriques.

BCE obtained its Grade A Contractor registration in May 1998.
