The main activities of RLM are those of general agents, importers, merchants, and providers of engineering and contracting services. It forms part of GML. Over the years RLM Ltd acquired and developed strategic investments in a number of subsidiary and associate companies operating in related fields of activities regrouped under three main clusters as follows:
• The Commercial and Engineering cluster
• The Printing cluster
• The Textile cluster.
These Group Companies operate locally in all major sectors of the Mauritian economy and are also present in Reunion Island, Madagascar, The Republic of South Africa, India and Bangladesh in specific sectors. The Company employs 350 full-time employees (excluding casual workers and sub contractors) and the Group around 500 in Mauritius and in the region.
