Lakaz Chamarel is a jewel lost in the middle of nowhere, at feet of the mountain Piton Canot, about fifteen minutes from the magnificent beaches of the Morne and the coastal towns of Black River and la Gaulette.
Five distributed houses of 50 square meters constitute a real haven of peace which will seduce at once the nature lovers. The stays to Lakaz Chamarel invite moreover in strolls in the nature, in discovery of the fauna and the flora of the neighbouring nature reserves and the Gorges of the Black River or in total idleness near the swimming pool.
The owners are Mauritians. The husband has been the director of two of the most beautiful and well known 5 star hotels on the island for the last 15 years and he has been in the hotel business for 25 years. The wife, Virginie who is present everyday at Lakaz, has overseen all details of architecture and decoration herself and spends most of her time embellishing the house and gardens.
