The Company started its operations in Mauritius in 1969, as a small branch of British American Insurance Kenya. In the following years, the Company expanded its activities geographically in Mauritius while introducing of a broad set of innovative products and services for the welfare of Mauritians. The Company has been placing a lot of emphasis on being close to its client base and this is today demonstrated with a network of over 22 branches and sales offices across the country and in Rodrigues Island.
La Compagnie débuta ses opérations à Maurice en 1969 en tant que succursale de British American Insurance Kenya. Dans les années qui suivirent, la BAI étendit ses activités à travers l’île et introduisit des produits et services innovants pour le bien-être des mauriciens. La Compagnie, qui a toujours désiré être proche de sa clientèle, possède maintenant un réseau de plus de 22 agences et bureaux commerciaux à travers l’île et à Rodrigues.
