Etale is a seafood company operating out of Walvis Bay, Namibia, and was established in 1999. We harvest, process and market seafood products, primarily hake, for the international retail and foodservice markets.
Etale is a private Namibian company employing in excess of 800 people and it owns a HACCP approved and ISO 22000 certified processing facility, as well as a fleet of vessels.
HARVESTING
We harvest fresh, wild caught fish from the ocean and go to great lengths to process our products in ways to preserve the highest quality of seafood for our customers.
PROCESSING
Our processing facility is both HACCP and ISO 22000 approved and is capable of processing 14 500 tonnes of landed fish per annum.
The facility is located next to our discharging jetty, providing a seamless flow from ocean to shore operations. Quality assurance measures function continuously throughout the process, day and night.
Etale is one of Namibia's leading hake suppliers. We produce frozen skin-on and skinless products of high quality for supply to the international foodservice and retail markets. We also readily customise products to suit our clients' specific needs.
