Engen Namibia (Pty) Ltd can trace its roots in Namibia to around 1897 when
Vacuum Oil Company reportedly set up an operation in Walvis Bay to service the
large whaling fleet operating in the area.
Today Engen has 29% market share in Namibia and is also the sole
distributor of a range of Exxon Mobil’s lubricants in the region.
Engen Namibia maintains its head office in Windhoek and has
operations in all the main centres scattered around the country including Walvis
Bay, Tsumeb, Keetmanshoop, Mariental, Gobabis, Grootfontein, Otjiwarongo and
Luderitz.
