Muddy Murphy’s, Orchard Hotel
The first of the Gaelic Inns pubs, Muddy Murphy’s remains an icon in the heart
of the city. Located at the lower ground floor of Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade,
Muddy’s comprises an openair “farm yard” and an air-conditioned traditional
1840’s Irish cottage pub indoors. The interiors were designed and built in
Dublin before being shipped over to Singapore in six containers and re-assembled
on-site by Irish pub specialists.
Ballymoons, Orchard Hotel
A quainter, quieter option, Ballymoons caters more to the white collar crowd for
after-work drinks or a laidback nightcap. The Irish theme is still obvious, but
with a degree of class which is nicely balanced with a warm, accommodating
atmosphere that any pub pilgrim will appreciate. Alcoholic offerings include
Gaelic Inns’ signature draught beer selection as well as an extensive list of
premium malt whiskies, hand crafted cocktails and a wide range of spirits.
Scruffy Murphy’s, East Coast Park
Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Cafe-Pub is a cosy Irish seaside cottage by the calm
shores of Singapore’s East Coast. Scruffy’s has been serving up great food and
drinks since 2005, and is well known for the quality and variety of its
home-cooked food, and of course the friendly service from its staff.
Durty Nelly’s, Marina Square
The newest addition to the Gaelic Inns family is Durty Nelly’s – a more
contemporary Irish-themed pub with many traditional features and bric-abrac. The
colours used, however, give the pub a more modern feel.
The Penny Black, Boat Quay
Making our way from Ireland to England, The Penny Black, located in the heart of
Boat Quay, is a true London pub experience. A beautiful Victorianstyled pub, it
was built in the same way as Muddy Murphy’s and Durty Nelly’s – constructed in
London, before being shipped here and reassembled.
