Dynamic Commodities, the home of Island Way Sorbet, operates from a state of the art production facility in the heart of the Coega Industrial Development Zone adjacent to the newly developed Port of Ngqura, the 3rd largest export harbour in South Africa. Quality and hygienic food safety are high on our list of priorities and we are certified to the ISO 22000:2005 standard (which includes accreditation to HACCP principles). We also hold international Halaal Certification.
Using the latest technology in food processing, we provide top quality products to our customers, while our clean, modern production facility is equipped with an air filtration system to create a positive air pressured environment within the factory. Dynamic Commodities is a major employer with a staff complement of 600 direct jobs and approximately 1000 indirect jobs via our suppliers. Through this, we have created valuable and mutually beneficial partnerships with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), as well as the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). We are also involved in various Broad Based Black Economic
Empowerment (BBBEE) farming initiatives as part of our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme.
