Mark Bakos is the founding member of MB Designs. He has been in the furniture business since 1996 starting with Bakos Brothers. In 2001 Mark started MB Designs specifically to design and supply custom made luxury furniture for homes and businesses.
To ensure control over quality and delivery, MB Designs has invested in a factory catering specifically for the hotel market specializing in upholstery, curtaining and cabinetry. This enables us to offer a full turnkey service. We have designers, architects and manufacturers on board that offer cutting edge designs and innovation.
The last two years MB Design has been busy in Africa with a turnkey refurbishment project with the Cresta hotel group. We successfully completed the entire refurbishment of three hotels in these two years!
MB Designs also owns and operates a separate company which specifically deals with the importing of furniture from the East and Europe for the hospitality industry. The company trades under the name Planet Chairs.
