Barloworld Equipment Energy–Perkins is the Master Distributor of Perkins and Perkins Sabre Marine engines and products in Southern Africa.
Based in Boksburg, South Africa, we supply diesel and gas engines into the industrial, construction, agricultural, marine and electrical power generation markets and, together with our dealer network, provide parts, warranty, sales, service and technical support throughout the subcontinent.
With Perkins an engine of choice amongst some 600 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) serving sub-Saharan Africa, we offer strong cross-border product support in conjunction with our dealers in Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia. Local availability of genuine parts and technical backup help ensure reliability and uptime for end-users that often find themselves in remote locations.
Barloworld Equipment Energy-Perkins was appointed Master Distributor of Perkins and Perkins Sabre Marine engines in 1998. Prior to that Atlantis Diesel Engines (ADE) had manufactured ADE (Perkins) engines under a licensing agreement with Perkins. As part of our philosophy of “keeping it genuine, keeps it running” we are committed to keeping all ADE (Perkins), Perkins and Perkins Sabre Marine engines running through the promotion and ready availability of genuine Perkins parts.
