That man was the founder of Valpré and the water, Valpré Spring Water. That was in 1984, when the first Valpré farm was established at Paulpietersburg in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. It was there that an aquifer was discovered, where rainwater that fell in the midland’s Fricona Valley gently filtered through the earth for 15 years before bubbling to the earth’s surface in a natural spring. The water tasted different, unique, due to its distinct mineral content assembled as it journeyed through the different soil and rock layers. It was true spring water with a natural, sweet taste. And so the Valpré Spring Water brand was born.
